RAD Overview

In response to God’s vision and calling, RAD (Radical Action Disciples) seeks to instruct young adults (ages 18 – 25) and direct them into a strong, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. The RAD program consists of intensive, experiential, and adventure-based learning courses that will help students grow towards a deeper level of spiritual maturity where they are firm in their faith, have a vision for their future goals, and are ready to mentor others. Each course will be 12 weeks long, and will contain a maximum of 12 students each. This produces an environment that will foster growth, holiness, vision, direction and experiential learning, and will have the greatest impact in the lives of each individual. The first course will focus on establishing the students' character in Christ and help them understand how their unique talents and gifts contribute to team dynamics. The second course will focus more directly on the students’ spiritual maturity and will culminate in four weeks of actual ministry experience. The last course will move the students towards a servant leadership role within RAD and will also give them important life experience through internships with small businesses and ministries. Students will leave RAD with a firm grounding in their faith, a sense of God’s call on their life, and the ability to go out and disciple others.
