"Discover God's Will"
Course Two continues on the foundation of openness, honesty, and intimacy with Christ but now shifts into outward ministry focus. Course Two students will move to a separate campus on RAD property. On the Course Two campus students will enjoy upgraded housing and more interaction with the surrounding community. The course curriculum reflects the same philosophy of interactive and practical learning as in Course One, but here the focus of the program is devoted towards developing ministry skills. Having invested the time learning how to cultivate Godly character during the first three months, students are now encouraged and trained in learning to minister to others.
Course Two curriculum focuses mainly on outreach and spiritual sensitivity with others. Students will learn skills and values integral to witnessing the Gospel, developing creative outreach tools, and effectively evangelizing others. The curriculum reflects RAD’s conviction that effective witness is a spiritual endeavor. RAD places great emphasis on prayer, spiritual awareness, listening to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and ministering according to the gifts and power defined in the Word of God. During the course students will be encouraged to actually apply their gifts in a ministry setting and will have support and feedback as they do so.
Finally, the course will culminate in three weeks of applied ministry experience while traveling on the road. The RAD students will leave the campus and engage in “Road Rules” challenges where they design and carry out ministry in various locations. By the end of the program, students will have both Biblical knowledge and practical experience in ministering to others.
