Welcome to Radical Action Disciples!!

We are a discipleship ministry designed for young adults, ages 18-26, and we are thrilled that you are checking us out!  While it is difficult to summarize what RAD is in just a few words, we invite you to explore our site and learn all about us.  Read about our vision and mission to train up a generation of leaders who are living an abundant, fruitful life of passionate service to Christ.   Find out what our distinctives are that set us apart from other ministries.  Learn about the three courses our 9-month program is broken into.  Meet our director.  If you are a potential student, or if you want to stay up to date with our current (or past) students, check out our student site.  If you are a parent of a potential student, we invite you to discover our heart for your child, find out answers to your questions, and consider how RAD can benefit your son or daughter.  Then, of course, there are always pictures and video to enjoy, current news to keep up with, and so many ways for you to be involved!  So dive in!  We pray that God will bless you as you read about some of His awesome works here at RAD…

Radio Interview
With Rob Finney, Katie Gossard, and Yvette Becerra.

This interview with RAD Ministries director Rob Finney, staff member Katie Gossard, and student Yvette Becerra was aired on a local radio station and is an overvie of the ministry. This is a two part broadcast.

The typical Christian is…well, tame.  Meek.  Good.  Civilized.  If he/she is disciplined then he/she spends 15 – 30 minutes a day doing personal devotions.

If he/she has been a Christian a really long time, then he/she is involved in some sort of ministry or outreach. This Christian tries to never miss church and is usually involved in some sort of Bible study.

Actually, there are many different types of a “typical Christian.”  But the not-so-common ones are those who are radical.  What does it mean to be a radical disciple of Jesus Christ?  It means sold-out.  Unabandoned.  Fearless.  Bold.  Incredibly joyful.  Free from bondage – even from negative emotions or circumstances.  And, more than anything, intimately involved in a relationship with Jesus.

Are you tired of the same old, same old?  Are you unsure of what lies ahead?  Do you really know who you are in Jesus and who God created you to be? Do you know what makes you come alive and feel incredibly passionate?

I’d say it’s time to do some soul digging.
